I'm Declan, and I'd rather fix a slice than read small print. So here it is, short and honest. Every question below is one a golfer might ask me.
The short version, before the rain comes in

- Hotmart takes your payment. I never see your card.
- I never sell or rent your details. Not to anyone.

Who am I actually dealing with here?
You're dealing with Declan Kearns Golf. That's the name the site, the books and the membership run under.
For anything at all, write to [email protected].
What happens if I only read the pages?
Very little, and that's how I like it. There's no account and no sign-up form here.
No advertising cookie, no tracking pixel, no Google or Facebook tracker, no analytics script.
Cloudflare hosts the site. To send you the pages and keep them safe, it processes your IP address.
What do you note when I tap a link from a video?
When you use a link or QR code from one of my videos, I note a few things. The time, which video or link it was, and the page it opened.
I also note your country and a scrambled code made from your IP address. The address itself is never stored, and the code can't be turned back into it. That tells me which videos actually help people.
One small cookie lasts 30 days. It only remembers which version of the book page you saw, so it looks the same if you come back. It's the only cookie I set. Hotmart's checkout has its own cookies, under Hotmart's policy.
If I buy a book, who sees my card?
Hotmart does, not me. Hotmart collects your name, email, billing and payment details. I never see your card number.
Hotmart tells me your email, what you bought, the price, your country and which video or link brought you.
For book orders, I keep a scrambled version of your email, not the email itself.
What do you keep when I join the membership?
Hotmart passes me your name, email, country and time zone. It also passes your membership status and dates, and which video or link you came from.
I keep these to send your letters. The letters tell me if they were delivered and which links in them were clicked.
What if I start paying and stop halfway?
If you don't finish, or the payment doesn't go through, Hotmart may pass me your name and email.
Then I may send up to two emails to remind you. One click stops them. If you've already bought, I won't write about it at all.
What happens to the questions I send you?
I keep your message and your email so I can answer you.
The full raw copy of the email is deleted after 90 days. The text of your message stays, so we can pick up the conversation again.
Does a computer help answer my letters?
Sometimes. To answer letters faster, an AI writing assistant may help draft my replies.
Your message is used for that and nothing else.
Why do you need any of this?
To deliver your books and letters, answer your questions and process refunds. To learn which videos really help golfers.
And now and then to tell you about other books from this channel. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link.
Will you sell my details to anyone?
Never. I don't sell or rent your personal information, and I never share it for advertising.
Who else touches my information?
Three helpers, each with its own privacy policy.
Hotmart handles payments, book delivery and membership billing. Resend sends my emails. Cloudflare hosts the site, stores my data and receives the email you send me.
How do I stop the emails or see my data?
Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. Or just reply with the word “unsubscribe”.
To see, correct or delete your data, write to [email protected]. I answer within 30 days.
That holds wherever you live in the US, California included. Hotmart keeps its own purchase records, as the law requires.
How long do you hold on to my details?
Membership details stay while you're a member, and until you ask me to delete them.
If you unsubscribe, I keep only a scrambled “do not email” note, so you're never emailed again.
Order records stay as long as the law requires.
Is this site meant for children?
No. The books and the membership are for adults. I don't knowingly collect data from children under 13.
How will I know if something here changes?
I'll update this page and its “Last updated” date.

Straight and solid. — Declan
